These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website and services of Live Oak Maintenance, LLC and its service line Live Oak Home Management (collectively, “Live Oak,” “we,” “us”), as well as the internal software tools we operate to run our business. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
Services
Live Oak provides residential maintenance, home-watch, project management, and related property services in Northeast Florida. The scope, fees, and specific terms of any engagement are set out in a separate written proposal or agreement, which controls in the event of any conflict with these Terms.
Software and integrations
We operate internal software tools, including automation that connects to our own QuickBooks Online company through Intuit’s official, authorized API. These tools are licensed to and operated solely by Live Oak for our own internal accounting and operational use. They are not offered to the public, and no third party is granted a license to use them. Our use of Intuit/QuickBooks integrations is subject to the applicable Intuit Developer and QuickBooks terms.
Acceptable use
You agree to use our website and services lawfully and not to interfere with their operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or misuse any information made available to you.
Intellectual property
The content, branding, and software associated with Live Oak are owned by Live Oak or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without our written permission.
Disclaimers
Our website and any non-engaged information are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Services we perform under a signed engagement are governed by the warranties, if any, stated in that engagement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Live Oak will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or these internal tools. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Duval County, Florida.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
